The Lux Boreal dance company in collaboration with National University of Pedagogy CALL for the audition for 6th edition of its Intensive Diploma in Dance and Stage Production 2025-2026.

 

INTRODUCTION

 

The Intensive Diploma in Dance and Stage Production aims to develop creative skills, as well as tools aimed at the development of production of artistic projects, and training on the system developed by the Lux Boreal company throughout its 22 years of existence. trajectory.

 

It is an education program with Diploma level certification, which includes in this edition a 21-month education, training and production schedule begining on Feb 4th, 2025, and ending on Dec 14th, 2026

 

The education, training and production sessions that take place in this Diploma in Dance and Stage Production will take place from Monday to Friday, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. within the official school year.

 

This Diploma is endorsed by the National Pedagogical University  022  Tijuana and by the Ministry of Culture  from Baja California through the State Center for the Arts-Tijuana; oriented to the development of leaders in the artistic and scenic field.

AUDITION PROCESS:

An audition will be held to select the applicants to enter the Intensive Diploma in Dance and Stage Production according to the following profile:

 

• Ability to carry out a rigorous training program.

• Creative and improvisational sensitivity.

• Developable physical qualities.

• Applicants must be 17 years old at the time of the audition, and a maximum of 35 years old.

 

Place and Date of the Hearing: Tijuana State Center for the Arts, SATURDAY, JAN 11, 2025.

Hours: 10 am to 1 pm (Dance Hall 3)

Audition fee: $300 pesos (non-refundable).

 

 

AUDITION REQUIREMENTS FOR LOCAL OR PRESENTIAL APPLICANTS:

 

The applicant must complete the following information and present it on the day of the audition:

 

a) Online registration form; which is available at the following address: luxboreal.org/cdpebc2025

 

b)  Intention letter; This is a letter written by the applicant explaining their interest in being part of this program, as well as their expectations when carrying it out (the letter is part of the online registration).

 

The audition process will take place on JAN 11, 2026 and will consist of a class session where physical, corporal as well as creative and improvisation qualities will be evaluated. It is important to present yourself with dance clothes that allow you to appreciate the work and body structure.

 

 

FOREIGN APPLICANTS (VIDEO AUDITION OPTION):

 

People residing outside the city of Tijuana, Baja California may audition via video by sending a link or file containing the following:

 

a) Scenic material, group and/or individual, and/or training exercises, classes or body studies where the applicant appears (total duration no longer than 12 min.)

 

b) A single between 3 and 5 minutes, where the physical and artistic abilities of the applicant are shown.

The video audition fee is $300 pesos (non-refundable), which may be by transfer or via bank deposit to the data that will be provided once the registration form, video material and letter of intent have been sent to contacto@luxboreal.org The video audition is available from the launch of this call with a deadline for receiving material on JAN 12, 2025.

 

 

RESULTS

​

The selected applicants for the 6th Edition of the Intensive Diploma in Dance and Stage Production 2025-2026 will be announced on Wednesday, January 15, 2025 through the luxboreal.org website. Additionally, those selected will be informed via email.

 

COSTS:

 

 

The Diploma in Dance and Stage Production 2025-2026 edition will have a registration fee of $600 pesos (one-time payment) and a monthly tuition fee of $1,300 pesos during the cycle February 2021 - December 2026 (excepting the monthly payments for the months of July and August).
