

Angel Arambula
Choreographer, scenic creator and teacher
Co-founder of the Lux Boreal dance company, he has served as general director and has contributed to the development of the collective's artistic proposal, achieving notable exposure in Mexico, Latin America, the United States and Europe. Likewise, it has contributed to consolidating the education, creation, training and social impact platforms that complement the company's work. Named in Dance Magazine 25 to Watch and as part of Lux Boreal's work on the binational scene, he received the Arts Angel Award. It has obtained recognition from the FONCA programs at the national level and PECDA from the states of Baja California and Sinaloa. He is a representative of the company Lux Boreal before the Support Program for Professional Artistic Groups Mexico on Stage from 2007 to date. Since 2006 he has served as academic director of the Baja California Dance and Stage Production Center that Lux Boreal carries out in the city of Tijuana, in collaboration with the National Pedagogical University. In terms of teaching, his research has led him to design the Articular Floor training system.

Henry Torres Blanco
Director, Choreographer, Scenic Creator and Designer
He completed formal studies in Industrial and Systems Engineering at the Technological Institute of Monterrey. He graduated in his professional dance studies at the Mazatlán Professional Dance School under the direction of the Delfos Company. He is a co-founding member of the Lux Boreal Dance Company based in Tijuana. He is the author and co-author of more than 80 choreographic works for different formats, he was listed in Dance Magazine's 25 to Watch. It has promoted and developed professionalization platforms for dance, platforms of social impact and inclusive nature, all within the development framework of the Lux Boreal company. He received the Arts Angel Award from the music community of San Diego, California and is listed on the Walk of Fame in the city of Tijuana. He has been a beneficiary of the National Fund for Culture and the Arts as a performer in the discipline of contemporary dance and as a Young Creator. He has received various supports from the State Funds for Culture and the Arts of Sinaloa and Baja California, in the categories of individual artistic development, Young Creator and Creator with a Career. Member of the National System of Art Creators 2018-2021 and member of the Board of Directors of the La Jolla Symphony Orchestra 2021-2024

Gabriela Amaro
Dancer, performer, choreographer and teacher.
She began her training in contemporary dance at INBA's number 1 artistic initiation school . She later entered the Ollin Yoliztli Cultural Center, from which she graduated as a Performing Dancer in Contemporary Dance. He developed professionally as a performer in companies such as A Poc a Poc“ by Jaime Camarena, Horus Danza del Centro Cultural Ollin Yoliztli, Colectivo Lado B, Compañía ”VSS Vicente Sanjinés, SValto Artes Escénicas and Hebra Comunicación en Movimiento, Contra Cuerpo by Jorge Domínguez. In 2015 she is a recipient of the BIDE Scholarship. 2016 in Barcelona by Sebastián Ferro. Since 2022 she has been part of the Lux Boreal company as a performance creator and teacher.

Emiliano Castro
Dancer, performer, choreographer and teacher.
He graduated with a degree in Performing Arts from the University of Sonora. In the choreographic field, he has brought to the stage Io, Ayer, Desasosiego and Día No.53, the latter two winners of second place in the 2018 and 2019 Choreographic Interpretation Contest respectively. In 2020, he received support from Fondo Extraordinario and Sonora Cultura Digital in Hermosillo to develop and carry out several virtual projects, including Danza en 1080. Collaborator with the Dédalo Artes Escénicas company, FUTURET collective, as well as Margarita Danza HERE. He has performed in various forums and festivals that include the fall season at El Mentidero, Viso Out Festival, the Pitic Festivals, Casa Andamios, Martes Danza, Un Desierto and the National Dance Meeting, 4x4 TJ Night in Tijuana and the Festival Lila López Dance International. Since 2022 he has been working as a teacher, choreographer and performer in the Lux Boreal Dance company.

Raul Osuna
Dancer, mover, choreographer and teacher.
Professional Urban and Contemporary Dance dancer, graduated from the Baja California Dance and Stage Production Center in 2017. Founder of the urban-stage activist movement HitHope. Member of the Dance ability foundation where he works as a teacher and therapist for patients/students with abilities such as Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, autism among specific conditions. He has worked as a Performer in national festivals and the IPL festival in Matão Brazil, Champion of the Check My Electro event in Cali Colombia, as an urban dance workshop in Cayambe, Ecuador. He has collaborated with the Lux Boreal Dance Company as a scenic creator since 2017 and has served as an official member since 2022.

Pamela Rios Castro
Dancer, performer, choreographer and teacher
Graduated from the Universidad De Las Américas Puebla with a degree in dance and from the Center for Dance and Stage Production of Baja California, a diploma course directed by the Lux Boreal dance company with the endorsement of the National Pedagogical University. He is currently part of the renowned company Lux Boreal in Tijuana, Baja California.
Her work as a choreographer has been part of different festivals in the Mexican Republic such as “Cuerpo al Discover” “Movica” “Paradojas invisibles”, Danza + Norte and the IX 4x4 Tj Night Choreography Contest
He participated in the Stay in Mexico- Opera 360 project of Stage of the Arts. Scholarship for the “Ensimismados” meeting in Costa Rica, directed by Jimmy Ortiz,
In 2022, she participated as a translator in the NBFF festival of Knowbox Dance, a dance company in Korea directed by Yeajean Choi and Martheya.
Producer of “Morfología Humana” and “Reflejo SonAnte”, choreographic pieces selected to participate in the tour of the Center for Dance and Stage Production of Baja California and at the University of the Americas Puebla in 2021.

Omar Barba
Promoter, visual artist and public relations
His professional development includes; Degree in Tourism, Diploma in sales and marketing strategies from the UABC, as well as the Diploma in “Appreciation and Visualization of the Arts” at La Caja Galería endorsed by the INBA and Diploma in Theater. From 2016 to 2019 he was in charge of public relations and media at the marketing agency “Taller de Marca”. He has developed as an actor since 2010, participating in various theater and musical theater productions. In 2022 he participated in the staging “Ephemeral Encounters for Perpetual Personalities”. Visual artist and intervention in garments since 2016. His painting techniques range from minimalist, abstract and realism. Among her collaborations in costume intervention are the Lux Boreal Contemporary Dance company in 2017 and the TEMPO Dance & Visual Art company in 2020.

Kamila Alvarado
Dancer, Choreographer and Teacher
Professional dancer, specialized in ballet and contemporary techniques, she develops a comprehensive approach to performance, education and production. Member and performer of Lux Boreal since 2025.
It has been forged in different competitions and meetings such as the International Dance Congress, RAD challenge 2020, Prix de la Danse Luisa Diaz, CIAD TJ oficial, Dance Classics, to name a few.
Her training includes programs such as Conservatorio de Danza México, Spring Dance Training, Tijuana Dance Workshop by Joffrey Ballet School 2017, Free expression by the Lombard Twins, Lizt Alfonso Dance Cuba, Amaprodanza, BIT/ Ballet International Training, Dance It and Boston Ballet Summer Intensives , the latter with a scholarship by selection.

Zelikzin López Acevedo
Dancer, Choreographer and Teacher
Originally from Oaxaca, Selikzin López Acevedo began her professional training in 2019 at the Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla (BUAP), where she earned a Bachelor's degree in Dance. During her university career, she participated in the second edition of the Pigmentos Festival in Puebla and collaborated with the BUAP Folkloric Ballet as part of her community service.
She participated in the Aleación Nómada program, also in Puebla, where she developed as a dancer and stage creator. She is currently an artist-in-residence at the Lux Boreal Dance Company, where she continues to develop her artistic language within a professional environment.

Claudia Mendoza
Dancer, Choreographer and Teacher
He began his dance training at the Coppelia Dance Academy. She studied classical dance in the Royal Academy of Dance system, where she completed the last official degree of this Advance II system with a distinction. She has participated in international meetings and competitions, including the Meeting of Academies for Ballet Teaching at the National Ballet School of Cuba, the Summer Intensive of the Victoria Academy of Dance in Victoria, Canada, the summer course of Ballets de San Juan in Puerto Rico, the Attitude international competition in Mexico City and the Odyssey of Dance competition in Lyon, France, where she was the only participant to be a medalist in all three participating disciplines (classical, contemporary and jazz). He is currently a resident of the contemporary dance company Lux Boreal.

Leo Aldair Huerta
Artist in residence, performer, dancer, mover, choreographer.
She first generated body awareness through martial arts, during her adolescence she trained in various disciplines such as boxing, tae kwon do, capoeira and Greco-Roman wrestling, She related to art in various intermittent theater courses until in 2016 at the age of 17 she won a scholarship in theater arts from the Baja California Artistic Talents program, where thanks to the tutelage of Gilberto Corrales she was able to know more deeply tools and concepts of both interpretation and the scene, which would help her develop artistically.
